  • £350 enabled an 11-year old young person to have a week’s break at an outdoor adventure centre – the first time they had ever been on holiday.

  • £3,500 transformed a street of bin bays into beautiful community gardens and trained  20 young people in garden design.

  • £5,000 funded a soup run for one year for a local homeless charity supporting rough sleepers.  They used this to build relationships and trust to re-engage homeless people.

  • £6,000 enabled staff and volunteers to receive training and continue their work looking after women and children experiencing domestic abuse.

  • £7,000 trained 9 people in practical construction trade skills and renovated a derelict property for a homeless volunteer.

  • £20,000 funded an Activities Organiser and a Neighbourhood support worker to work with older people in the Holbeck area in Leeds.  An area where many elderly people are too scared to leave their own homes.
